"This place is amazing! If anyone is "sitting on the fence" on whether to book Yasawa Island Resort & Spa for a honeymoon/romantic getaway or a relaxing vacation and have the resources to do it, DO IT!! This was by far and away the most tropical and beautiful place I've ever been. The resort is absolutely gorgeous and clean. 
The food is awesome (they have an Australian chef that makes all the meals). The "Bure" we stayed in (deluxe bungalow) was huge, clean, modern, had an outside shower and had an amazing view of the ocean. Not to mention the private "hut" and hammock they have for you down in front of your bure where you can relax and read and watch the sunset. A nice thing about the resort is that it only has about 15 or so bungalows on the whole premises, so they really take care of you and make you feel like a V.I.P. your entire stay. If you want ANYTHING, you just tell the staff and they'll get it done for you. The best thing about this 
stay...they have what is called "Private Picnics" (available everyday other than Sunday). You go down to the Activities Center at 10:30am and they take you on a small boat 5-15 minutes south or north to your own private beach. I can't tell you how cool this is...you are on your own beach, which has gorgeous white sand and the color of the water is incredible, and you won't see a single soul the entire time you're there. They ask you what time you want to be picked up and right on the dot they are there to pick you up. They pack your lunch for you (you tell them what you want to eat/drink), bring your cooler and set up your umbrella for you. We could not have been treated any better at this resort. It felt like we were V.I.P. the 7 days we stayed. The Fijian people that work here are absolutely amazing. If you want the royal treatment in a tropical paradise this is it!
