Where Less truly is more ... at Yasawa Island Resort

"We have just returned from our third stay at Yasawa resort and after the return to a cold wintry Sydney cannot wait to return for another visit. We have stayed with four other Fijian resorts some several times, but Yasawa is definitely the one that suits us. The staff were as always wonderful. They really make a considerable effort to make you feel as if they are welcoming you into their way of life, we did not see any signs that they were unhappy in any way. Chef Scott, Jona and Sammi did a great job with the food, nothing was to much trouble despite my having the odd dietary requirement, you just had to ask and it was done and also to a great standard fresh, simple and a lot of local produce, the desserts were great. It was great to see the old staff back and to meet the new staff as well. Yasawa is a wonderful Fiji experience, isolated perfect beaches, clear and clean waters, snorkeling, diving trips, private beach picnics, Kayaks, windsurfer, sailing, peek a boo canoes, visits to watch the football at Yasawa ir Rawa, the school at Bukama, nature walks and the fishing!! the tuna were on so as lucky guests we all got to eat the catch. We had the best time.
